Important Information for Your Hunt

Fees & Deposits:

Fees for an elk hunt will depend on the size of animal taken and will be based on B&C score. Prices for elk and other hunting opportunities available upon request.

We require a $1000 deposit fee to reserve your hunt dates with the balance due at time of hunt. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your reservation within 30 days of the scheduled hunt. Since the hunt does not require a state hunting license, the hunt is transferable to another hunter. However, if your reservation is cancelled prior to 30 days, we will work with you to reschedule your hunt during the current year or for a future hunt. If no replacement is found or a reschedule cannot be arranged, we will refund half of your deposit.

Hunting Dates:

Hunting can be scheduled any time from September 1 through November 30.

Lodging & Transportation:

Lodging and meals are provided. Transportation to and from the ranch is available if you choose to fly. The closest airport is in Pierre, SD (65 miles from our ranch) with one also available in Rapid City, SD (150 miles from our ranch).

Hunters with Disabilities:

We are equipped to assist hunters with disabilities and welcome everyone. Please give us a call so we can visit about your concerns and requests.

Party Size:

We can accommodate up to four hunters and/or non-hunters in a party. However, individual hunters are encouraged to hunt with us.

What's Included:

Unless stated otherwise, our hunts include all your meals and lodging during your hunt, hunt transportation, guide service, and trophy care.

What's not Included:

Transportation from your home to the ranch, any lodging and meals before and after your scheduled hunt, taxidermy, processing of your game meat, trophy shipping and any applicable taxes. If you fly into Pierre, transportation to and from the ranch will be included.

Equipment for Bagging that Trophy Elk:

The elk roam on the beautiful Cheyenne River breaks. You may bag your trophy using your typical rifle, black powder, or a bow. The choice of hunting is yours. Some areas are accessible by ATV. Hunting by foot is recommended due to the heavily populated cedar draws.
